This is the true story of Peanut-a little white dog with a big heart.  She was a stray and was saved just in the nick of time before a blizzard struck.  The book talks of her rescue, her quirks and how she became part of our family.
 
Peanut is an endless source of love and laughter and brightens our lives daily. She has a playful personality and loves to bestow love upon those close to her.  From the beginning she showed us her heart was open to giving love. We do not know her circumstances prior to ending up with us but we do know that her life was changed when she became part of our family. Our life was also changed as she has a personality bigger than the state of Texas.
 
It is my hope that this book will encourage others to be open-minded about adopting a dog that is in need of a home. Shelters are full of animals that need a chance. It is my sincere wish that someone's heart will be opened to the possibility of helping out an animal in need. When you adopt from a shelter you not only help the animal you are removing but you are also helping another by being able to offer a place to be with the possibility of getting a forever home.
